    Biotin-NHS Ester is an amine-reactive building block used for modification of amine-containing molecule in organic media. NHS-activated biotin is water-insoluble reagent, thus requires an organic solvent such as DMSO or DMF to be dissolved. Short spacer arm adds minimal mass to modified molecules.
