Dde Biotin-PEG4-NHS Ester

Dde Biotin-PEG4-NHS Ester is a unique amine reactive, cleavable biotin reagent that allows for release of the captured bio-molecules from streptavidin under mild conditions. This reagent contains a biotin moiety linked to the amine reactive N-hydroxysuccinimidyl (NHS) through a spacer arm containing a hydrazine cleavable Dde moiety. The NHS portion of this compound reacts specifically with primary amine groups on the target molecule(s) to form an amide linkage. Captured bio-molecules can be efficiently released, typically >90% with 2% hydrazine in aqueous media.
