THPTA

THPTA is a water-soluble, very effective accelerating ligand for Cu(I)-catalysed Alkyne-Azide click chemistry reactions (CuAAC). In addition to greatly enhancing the rate of CuAAC THPTA minimises perturbations to the physiological state of the cells or organisms probed and allows for effective bio-conjugation with suppressed cell cyto-toxicity by further lowering CuI loading in the catalyst formulation.
